From inception our aim was to assist with the understanding and education of Certified Organic Cotton and the health benefits which can be achieved by using mattresses, bedding, bedlinen and garments made from Certified Organic Cotton.
What Being Certified Organic Really Means
Certified Organic bedding and textiles are not always understood. There is a lot of misleading advertising, claims that products are natural and organic when they are clearly not, and certainly not Certified Organic.

Certified means that you are purchasing products which do not contain harmful chemicals. The raw product and any further processing is without harmful chemicals. It also means that an independent company makes regular inspections from farmer to production, and will issue certificates which are the assurance of the certification.
We pride ourselves that with our many years of experience of bedding and bedlinen in the conventional market and the consequent MCS injury sustained by Peter caused by out-gassing of the chemicals in the non-organic products, also with our subsequent years of experience with Certified Organic Bedding and Certified Organic Linen, many come to us not just for products but first with questions and advice.

The Only Australian Business Manufacturing Bedlinen From Certified Organic Cotton
No matter what other manufacturers might claim, we are the only firm in Australia who make all bedlinen and bedding accessories in our own sewing rooms and have total control over the manufacturing process. In addition to the many mature trees already around our property where we first began producing our bedlinen (and some of our other bedding products), we have planted over 150 more trees and shrubs and installed solar panels. Water is also collected on our property. We strongly believe that we are now manufacturing our bedlinen and bedding carbon neutral and in addition provide some offset for water used in the manufacturing of our fabrics.
Our products ARE made from 100% Certified Organic Cotton. All our fabric and the filling for mattress and futons are GOTS Sustainable Textiles (Global Organic Textile Standard), certified by Control Union. They are packed in either Certified Organic Cotton fabric bags or biodegradable cellulose film, and final packaging for freight/post in cartons, the only plastic we use is to protect mattresses and rolls of fabric for transport.
We sell direct so that you are able to purchase the safest products for bedroom, nursery, bathroom, baby and child and yourself direct from the manufacturers Organature, at the most reasonable prices. Selling direct also means that the products are not contaminated by third party outside sources.
Improved Health Benefits From Using Quality Australian Hardwood Timber Too
Health benefits may also be achieved when using our Australian manufactured hardwood products (bed bases, bedside tables etc). This Australian hardwood timber has been kiln dried so off-gassing of the volatile oil (eucalypt) has been minimised. Pine on the other hand, being a soft wood, out-gasses volatile terpines (terpentine). One of the major benefits of our local product is that it IS LOCAL, thus avoiding the fumigation requirements of products imported into Australia.
Australian quarantine regulations requires fumigation of timber and timber products. Fumigation chemicals are harmful to health, and a possible cause of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) in babies. Other timber products are also made here with MDF, full of formaldehyde, another cause of SIDS? Glued and finished with petro chemical paint and stain, another cause of SIDS? — It’s not worth the chance for anyone.
